About thinking and teaching...

...learning and the evolution of self.

I was just struck by this sudden epiphany from seeing Jung's Red Book and exchanging a few words about it and was told "-We have different goals in life".

I honestly don't believe this to be true but rather "We may have different approaches to evolving as individuals and understanding others".

When we read, study, learn and hopefully eventually understand another's definitions, thoughts and processes of ideas and ideals in life, we evolve with the understanding not only of our selves but of others.

This does not imply we have different paths, different understandings of the implications and meaning of life as a couple, friends, different entities occupying the same space in time for any longer or shorter time, but I firmly believe it is a matter of studying others ideas and hypothesis solely for the purpose of understanding how to define ones own thoughts so that others may approach us with a similar basis or language in the process of interpersonal relations.

Any and all study performed solely for the purpose of understanding a thought or idea of another person and thus adapting it as our own is a waste of time.

The ultimate goal must therefore be always to endeavor to study and learn from ones own understanding the "Self" or the reasoning and reactions we are faced with on our own life-path.

I used to be the first one to study and read much of what everyone else was thinking, writing and saying, trying to find myself and my own standpoint in much of what others had experienced.

This I believe was actually what was holding myself back from evolving to whom I am today. The complete change and alteration of my self, defining who I am in the greater perspective of life did not arrive until I both consciously and subconsciously let go of the illusions that another's thoughts and processing was my own in any way.

For this very reason I often find my self reading friends posts on Facebook for example, only to redefine these writings and statements of limited chunks of wisdom and trinkets of knowledge at a level which I myself in my own evolution have come to leave behind since many years.

As such, I always maintain a simple approach to life, I evolve at my own pace without letting others thoughts and ideas influence me too much.

True realization of self can only be derived from the natural evolution of self and frequent epiphanies and self-realization can only come when the pattern of life is unraveled thus far as to allow this to occur.

Many have asked me to be a teacher, a guide, a source of limited but true enlightenment as to how to become calm, self conscientious and relaxed to evolve, or even in simple matters aid in tutoring or teaching of traditional educational matters such as language and computer sciences or mathematics.

As for the latter this is simply a matter of applying one self to a goal. As for the prior, it is a personal life choice to allow one self to evolve and develop as a person. Not a goal or target driven activity we can take on with any rigor without closing our minds to the possibility of external influences and natural evolution.

An epiphany is never learned, it is gained by natural understanding.

Besides, I am in and of my self far too young in a mental stage to be able to guide, teach or educate anyone in this field, and I feel therefore, such matters are best learned by one's own accord when the time is right and all other energetic patterns in life come together to form the energy to provide such an epiphany for each and every one individually.

--- addition

In short, what I said above about being beyond the early stages of my own understanding and evolution compared to simple short inserts and posts on Facebook and other media, I don't in any way wish to belittle the efforts, understanding and teachings of others, but I am simply stating I feel as if I am beyond that step in my own understanding of things around me.

We cannot use the teachings and thoughts of an other person but to improve our understanding of a linguistic approach to explain where that person is at a given point in time. This does not imply that you cannot recognize or feel familiar with the teachings in part or in great parts with that person, but I fail to understand the purpose of continued learning from others about the understanding of one self and your own approach to life and the many hurdles we meet.

Ultimately, it is the personal experiences and the manner in which we  understand and attempt to comprehend the experience of others that define our mutual understanding. NOT our selves as individuals but solely the understanding of communication by mutually accepted standards of linguistic data.

I wish to believe that humans are so much more than a collection of binary 0's and 1's, but all to often I find that most things, decisions, attitudes, positions and interpersonal relations seem closer to being guided by the limited 1024 synapses we possess in the human brain rather than the overall controlling energy of all things around us.

An energy most humans wish to forget in a futile belief we have some kind of supernatural control over things around us.

In order to gain control of your own environment, the only thing you truly can do is to let go of the need and human desire to control every little aspect, and rather, grasp at the small good portions in life which you in fact can accommodate and manage with some success.

What happens, more or less will happen, regardless of one individuals endeavors to micromanage our foreseeable cosmos.

Call it fate, destiny or whatever you so desire, but the most essential understanding about this is perhaps; "-There are 7 billion people around you. Each and everyone with the very same delusion that they can micromanage everything of that which is at the very same time affected by all the other people around them".

  1. As a quote from a friend whom shall remain anonymous in this, I just received a message containing the following note.

I just read that with my morning/afternoon coffee (just woke up). I enjoyed it, very interesting and it's good to see that you are much more coherent and at ease with life right now [:-)]

Yeah man, it was an awesome read since the theme deals with the Self. The better we know the Self, the more aware we are of our Self and thus the more harmonious of a relationship we can have with ourselves, with others, with nature and with life. You covered that really well. I liked the aspect of "control" you mentioned, the reasoning was very sound and it's a spiritual truth (spiritual meaning self-growth). Letting go is actually allowing, from my experiences and observations! We let go of the things and ideas and beliefs that take us out of balance, and in doing that, that creates more space for allowing in more of how we wish to feel and be - realigning!

The way I see it (in response to your view of how humans are limited), most people are 'masters of limitation'. The definitions that make up their belief systems and world views are the very things that limit themselves, concerning all realms of relationships and what is possible and impossible. Most people don't know that they can break free from limiting ideas by going within, but that also means knowing and understanding and accepting the darkness within - then we can move on from that. This is the Jungian approach of bringing the unconscious up to the conscious surface so we can overcome those things that have been stuck in the subconscious - something a bit more beyond than brain neurology and synapses. But you see, going into the unknown and reaching some kind of "realization" will change how the brain neurons communicate - so there is also that mechanistic idea of breaking up our brain's limited way of communication and moving where the action is so we can become more creative, happy, reflective and intuitive.

Okay man, thanks for sharing that with me! That was an awesome piece you wrote from your epiphany within self-discovery and understanding.
